Sarkodie laughs off buying UT Bank shares

Sarkodie has laughed off reports that he has bought 50% shares in UT Bank Ghana Limited.

Someone close to the ‘Take It Back’ rapper tells livefmghana.com, “the reports are just thoughts, not facts and should be treated as such.”

Over the weekend, the rapper and founder of the bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng were special guests at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology during the maiden edition of the X- Men Tour hosted by Anita Erskine.

The source adds that they have a pretty good relationship but there hasn’t been any business negotiations of any sort.

UT Bank Ghana Limited commenced business as a Finance house in 1997 and evolved from a lending company to a Universal Bank. It is publicly owned and actively traded on the Ghana Stock Exchange. UT Bank has positioned itself as a lending bank that seeks to change the face of banking in Ghana through fast, efficient and respectful delivery of products and services.

As one of the fastest growing banks in Ghana, UT Bank provides innovative customer-oriented products and services, focusing primarily, on the financial needs of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
