Busta Rhymes faces lawsuit after making "hurtful" comments to his former driver.
A former Marine who served as a personal driver for Busta Rhymes is taking his grievances with the rapper to court, according to Page Six.
A lawsuit filed by the former driver, 57-year-old David Jones, claims
that in the two years Jones worked for Busta Rhymes he was berated due
to his age.
“You’re driving your age — I can see that" and “You drive like an old
man,” were comments Busta allegedly made to Jones as he chauffeured him
from his Brooklyn home to various locations in New York City.
“These remarks, repeated two to three times a week, were
intentionally hurtful, upset the plaintiff and injured his feelings,”
the lawsuit states, according to Page Six.
At one point, Rhymes is said to have shoved Jones and cursed at him, during an exchange between the two.
This doesn't serve as the first time Busta's bad temper has made headlines. In 2013, the rapper allegedly called employees at Miami's Cheeseburger Baby out of their name, when they wouldn't allow him to skip the line.
Busta Rhymes' former driver is suing for over $40,000.
