Letter To Adom Tv : Kukum Bhagya Is Causing More Harm Than Good!

I'm glad for the nice and interactive programmes been shown on ADOM TV, most especially #KumkumBhagya which has caught the attention of many Ghanaians to be glued to their seats as it seeks to straighten the relationship lives of people, as well as bring family together. Kudos.
However, Kumkum Bhagya is causing more harm than good, I must confess.
Kumkum Bhagya is gradually affecting the religious life of people, most especially Christians as well as school children in a negative.
Majority of students are now lazy to read their books and it is affecting their academic performance in school. A week ago, I asked a primary three student what they learnt in school and she was fumbling and couldn't tell me. Amazingly, this young girl was able to narrate what happened previously on Kumkum Bhagya from A-Z. Students will watch Kumkum Bhagya, ignore their homework and later sleep during classes hour(s) Oh! Gosh.
Some scenes in Kumkum Bhagya which are not meant for children will be shown in full glare for them. And the possibility of them adopting these bad lifestyles in Kumkum Bhagya such as excessive drinking, insults, etc is very high.
Again, church activity is now going down. Some vibrant Christians have stopped going to evening prayers all because of Kumkum Bhagya. They've stopped attending evening prayers because, the time in which Kumkum Bhagya starts isn't favoring them to come closer to God. Some Pastors are now lazy to engage and teach their members because they they won't come for them to go and watch Kumkum Bhagya. Churhes are collapsing and Pastors are afraid to complain, for fear of losing members. Kindly vist Churches and prayer grounds at a time Kumkum Bhagya is been shown and you'll only find the "Old men and women" whiles the Youth won't be found. And, if they go, they'll leave immediately 7:30pm clocks
You will quiz "How does it concern" Huh! People are going wayward and you don't care? Come On! This development isn't the best and should be curbed.
Most parents are found of encouraging and calling their children to come around when Kumkum Bhagya starts. Do expect them to learn or do their homeworks? Certainly No! You are rather destroying their future. And these parents will blame the devil when their children fail. Why blame the devil? When your actions and inactions caused it? I will also urge Parents to discourage their wards from watching Kumkum Bhagya and encourage them to learn.
In summation, I'm not saying that, Kumkum Bhagya should be stopped but will be glad should there be a change of time. This will prevent people from going to the "dark" and also help students to find ample time and learn, so as to perform well in Class and during Exams.
