‘Ghana Meets Naija’ Concert Bounces Back.

This year's edition of 'Ghana Meets Naija' will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra in May, according to Empire Entertainment, the organisers.
They have promised that this year's event has been packaged to meet the demand of both Ghanaian and Nigerian music lovers, adding that all the artistes billed for the event would deliver spectacular live performances.
Most of the local artistes set to take on their Naija counterparts are taking it all in their stride as they prepare for what most have predicted to be the most electrifying face-off between the two nations on one stage.
A source close to the organisers also told BEATWAVES that this year's event will bring together the best of Ghana and Nigeria's music industries.
The 'Ghana Meets Naija', the source maintained, is a musical concert aimed at fostering unity between the two countries, celebrating brotherhood and similarities between cultures and musical trends.
The concert is largely regarded by many music lovers in Ghana and Nigeria as a musical showdown of sorts to establish supremacy between two countries whose musical trends have continuously influenced and rivalled each other in every way.
Last year's event witnessed historic performances from the Mavins from Nigeria who battled it out with Ghana's triple 'S'Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
