Set for May 20, the concert featuring Puff Daddy,
Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112 and
Mario Winans is to celebrate what would have been Biggie’s forty-fourth
birthday May 21.
"This isn't just another concert,”
Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs says in the press release. "This is Hip
Hop history. The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in
music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we
are celebrating one of the greatest of all time - Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can't wait to see you all there.”
Bad Boy Entertainment and Biggie collaborators Jay Z
and Mary J. Blige are among the special guests slated to appear at the
concert, which will feature music from Bad Boy Entertainment’s 20-plus
year history.
The Bad Boy Entertainment family also reunited last year for the 2015 BET Awards.
During a recent interview, Faith Evans says that she’s in the "finishing stages" of The King & I, a collaborative album with The Notorious B.I.G., to whom she was married.
Tickets for “One Night Only” are set to be available on Live Nation’s website starting April 2 at 11 am EST.
