Lil Wayne has signed NFL hopeful Reggie Northrup to his Young Money Sports agency, according to TMZ.
The former Florida State University
linebacker is preparing for the NFL draft, which is slated to take place
April 28-30 in Chicago.
Lil Wayne and his Young Money team are reportedly in Florida for the 6’1”, 231-pound linebacker’s pro day.
The rapper signed Northrup after reportedly impressed by his drive and work ethic.
Other rappers, including Jay Z with Roc Nation Sports and Birdman with Cash Money Sports, also represent athletes.
